Extravagant Devotion and the Great Abandoning (Mark 14)

Presented by Jace Broadhurst

December 13, 2009, 6:19 am

Have you ever blown $91,000 in one sitting? Mark 14 records the story of a woman who does just that. I am pretty excited about this sermon. Here we see complete and extravagant devotion coupled with the beginning of the the great abandoning. Its about a wasteful outsider woman who snubs the poor and gets commended for it. And its about a close friend of Jesus who betrays him. I cant wait to share this with you.

When is Jesus Coming Back? (Mark 13:24-37)

Presented by Jace Broadhurst

December 6, 2009, 6:12 am

"Barack Obama is the Anti Christ!" "Warning: In case of rapture, this car will be unmanned." Will you be Left Behind? The European Union is a sign of the end times. Will you have the computer chip embedded in your hand?
What do you think of when you think of the end times? Perhaps one of these popular notions? We all wonder about when Jesus is going to come back. This Sundays sermon will give you all the answers. Bring your calendar as prophet Jace gives you all the answers to your most asked questions about the future from Mark 13. And if you believe that (or any of those brief sayings above), I have a few bridges for sale. I hope in this one sermon to call all of us to discern, to be on guard and to stand up and be counted.

What is the Abomination of Desolation and How Should We Feel About Error in the Church? (Mark 13:14-23)

Presented by Jace Broadhurst

November 29, 2009, 12:01 pm

What in the world is the abomination of desolation? Is the end of the world almost here? Both of these answers are included in this sermon but the key to Mark 13 can be summed up in these two words: "Be Alert!"
Do you remember the sheep acquisition and consumption department? Every morning a certain ACME loving coyote would punch the clock and try with all his might to steal and eat a sheep under the watchful nose of Ralph the sheepdog. There is a coyote still out there and he longs to trick the sheep. There is no rocket propelled trickery, just subtle deceptions but they are wreaking havoc in the church. The man of lawlessness is among us. The antichrists are here (and they have been for a long time). Just call me Ralph the sheepdog this week and please don't miss the warnings Jesus has for you
