The Emotion of Christ and the End of the Temple (Mark 11:1-20)

I truly despise Hallmark cards and Hallmark movies are even worse. All that emotional stuff just drives me crazy. I am learning to like it more and I do tear up from time to time now but in general, emotional people and I dont mesh well. Now having said that, our passage this week is about a very emotional Jesus--one who cries, one who gets angry, one who lashes out. There is a lot of emotion flying around this week and it is all wrapped up in an old world that is being done away with. Judaism and its law and temple have been fulfilled and it is causing a serious ripple in Jerusalem. Its actually a pretty exciting ripple that brings more than a little bit of emotion even to my face (often devoid of emotion). Listen to this sermon about a king entering Jerusalem and going on a rampage.
